The right guy at the right time! I usually don’t take the time to post stuff like this but upon reflecting on my experience with Michael Allen, I felt it necessary. After being served divorce papers I was beyond concerned and lost and was not sure where to start and who to turn to. Michael was referr...ed to me by an attorney friend of mine, which in itself is a strong statement. Divorce is not a pretty thing and having an attorney represent you that understands that and cares was very important to me? Michael’s knowledge of divorce law was only surpassed by his genuine and sincere people skills. I was warned by many about lawyers who drags things on and pad their bills. Michael’s approach was about doing what’s right for the kids, me and overall the least expensive conclusion. In my opinion his focus was always on finding a fair and equitable conclusion while protecting my interests and not forgetting my two kids. When I had a gut feeling in the pit of my stomach, that something had changed in my marriage I had to look into. It would of been a lot easier to turn a blind eye, and keep going with the daily grind and to live unhappily married ever after. After nearly 10 years of marriage and only being 34, with 2... kids (4 and 6) I needed to make a change. I'm also thankful he helped get me joint legal and physical custody of my 2 kids 50/50. At the end of the day I never felt cheated and that was due to Michael's hard work. The division of assets, accounts, spousal support, child support, and visitation all was fair and I owe it all to Michael. Michael's attention to detail and thoroughness saved me a lot of money both upfront and the future till both my kids turn 18. They are 4 and 6 now so there is still a long ways to go having to co-parent them now with my ex. After the case was over he said he would always be there for me if anything comes up and I believe with trust him 100%. Thanks Michael for helping me out and that sums up why I have no issue referring him to anyone. He delivered results of what he said he was going to do! For that I will always be grateful.
