Kevin Forbush is an experienced attorney licensed in Colorado, California, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. He is also an active CPA licensed in Colorado. His legal and accounting experience makes him uniquely qualified to counsel clients on the complex issues where the law, taxes and financial matters intersect. Kevin focuses his practice on estate planning, tax planning, asset protection and business planning.　Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) from California State University, San Bernardino, in 1982 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1988.

Kevin is a member of the Colorado State Bar, the Trust and Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Texas, the Utah Bar and the Wyoming Bar. He is also a member of the Colorado Springs Financial Planning Association (FPA). 　Kevin retired in 2006 as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force Reserves after 24 years of active-duty and reserve service.　 He served most of his military career as a member of the Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps.

Kevin lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and best friend of 23 years, Beth Morgan. Kevin and Beth have four children (Vance married to Maggie, Jason married to Ann, Chris and Caroline); and four grandchildren (Danny, Kaylee and Paige and Brooke). Vance works with Kevin at Forbush Goldberg. Jason is an Air Force Captain and Pediatrician beginning a Fellowship in Behavioral Pediatrics. Chris is a Midshipman at the US Naval Academy and Caroline attends Cheyenne Mountain High School.

Estate planning made easy with Kevin Forbush

Kevin Forbush made my estate planning very easy and made sure I understood every aspect of what was happening now and, in the future. The options were given to me with the pros and cons on each item so I could pick the best way to ensure that my children would be best protected when it came in settling my estate. Kevin held the meetings in such a way that it kept me at ease. Meetings were kept to a minimum and in a timely manner. Thank you, Kevin for the way you run your office.

Living Trust

Great Attorney

I moved to Colorado Springs after retiring from the military. When it was time for my trust to be reviewed and updated I wanted an attorney who had an office that was more than 2 or 3 people. I also want to establish a long time relationship. Kevin Forbush was recommended to me. After consulting with him my wife and I decided to have him rewrite and update our trust documentation. He and his staff did a great job. We have been associated with him for several years now and continue to be satisfied. He has a current process in place that reviews your documentation yearly to insure that it is up to date both in the funding areas and current law. In addition he has several seminars a year to keep his clients updated on topics ranging from their estate planning and current laws to topics of interest submitted by his clients. He and his staff use modern on-line technology to manage documentation but are flexible and will provide hard copy for those of us who are more comfortable with a piece of paper in our hands. I have had occasion over the years to call with several legal questions. He and his staff either answer them immediately or if they require research return an answer to me in a short time frame. He and his staff make you feel comfortable in the office. They understand what "assume" means and clearly explain everything pertaining to the issue at hand. Kevin Forbush is not only a great attorney but he is personable and caring about his clients. I highly recommend him to any one who is looking for an attorney.

Estate Planning Services

Kevin and his Team are outstanding. The entire process was well organized, client sensitive, covered all possible areas to include those we did not need at the time just to make sure, thorough and perfectly presented. We definitely got our money's worth! We are involved in the annual "maintenance plan" which ensures that we think about our plan on at least an annual basis AND during the course of the year when things change. Our two(2) adult sons are part of the program also so they benefit as well in their estate planning programs. I highly recommend Kevin and his Team!

An attorney who doesn't give "canned" advice

Kevin is a great guy who helped us with planning solutions that fit our particular needs. I don't know of anyone who doesn't have a unique set of values; family relationships; business, career, and financial goals. From Kevin, we never got a sense he was giving us a "one-size-fits-all" solution. It's also great that we can depend on him as things change in our life.
