I see that most reviews are from clients of a very different sort. Laura was the man I called a husband's lawyer. My experience with her began with a phone call - blindsided - that my husband had filed for divorce, the VERY DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING. She was habitually negligent (SLOW in getting around... to ANYTHING), devious, and diverting. Worked great for my ex, of course; but no lawyer should be allowed to practice who makes life a nightmare for ANYONE. What could have been done in 3mo, went over a year. Most important is that she chose to defend a man/situations that are INDEFENSIBLE. Knowing all the circumstances, she pushed for my children to be forced to start seeing their father who'd estranged himself from them for TWO YEARS; WHEN, we'd asked for reunification therapy to facilitate this process. She counseled him to "start attending" their soccer games so he'd have it to say in front of the judge - and he literally attended ONE. Things naturally proceeded to go terribly, to the point that she finally called him out and he then proceeded to quit her - JUST before our final conference by which he therefore missed, dragging things out once again. Super mystified, disappointed, and mortified that there are indeed lawyers who operate the way Laura does. She holds families' LIVES in her hands. A NIGHTMARE. This site insists you must choose at least one star. Obviously, I would choose none. She is NOT a lawyer of integrity. But, if that's what you're looking for, then she's the one for you.

We hired Laura to set up our will. We went into the process expecting an unfriendly, 100%-businesslike demeanor with little time to help with questions. Laura was the opposite. She's friendly, down-to-earth and super helpful. She took so much time with us so we understood the legal jargon in our... wills so we felt completely comfortable in the final document. She's a gem for anyone setting up their will or estate planning. You definitely want to talk to Laura.
