Entered into mediation because he said the judge required it, he didn't. The mediator charged me double what she charged the others, he paid because he had a retainer and didn't question it until I brought it to his attention, it went no where. I have not received an itemized billing from him since s...ending him a large amount of money as a retainer about a year ago. I could not reach him by phone or email for months and finally got him 2 weeks ago. He still has not responded with billing, I can only assume I owe him nothing but wonder what he owes me. He told me if there was balance it wasn't much, is that the any way do business?

Mr. Zimmerman is a knowledgeable attorney, and reasonably priced. He was very thorough in court, and I was quite pleased with the outcome, so in the areas of being Knowledgeable & Trustworthy - a big thumbs up! Where I was so disappointed with him were in the areas of Responsiveness and Keeping me in...formed. It was truly impossible to get him to return a phone call or email in regards to my Divorce/Modification hearing after my day in court. After 6-8 messages over a 2 week period and several emails - none of which were returned, I finally "caught him" answering the phone to get my 2 questions answered. I have been through hell over the last year with my former spouse, and I have some very real Child Support & Maintenance concerns. I simply wanted to know (1) When will I see the written ruling? & (2) What should I do next? 10 minutes Mr. Zimmerman was all it would have taken.
