Replied last April 24, 2019As we have indicated in our other response on other platforms, the criminal justice system is not fun. Not every outcome can be what we’re hoping to achieve for our clients. At NLO, we do our best for every client and for their pets, too, as is evidenced by our policy that when a client’s pet passes, we donate in their honor to local humane societies, as happened here. We have never consulted with your family and thus have no input on the other cases mentioned. Here at NLO, we also support our client’s decisions on whether to take a plea or to take a case to trial—that is the client’s decision, as it should be. In order to address concerns, they must be brought to our attention. We are happy that you will be able to have your case dismissed and the case sealed to have a clean record in a relatively short time. Justie is not a realtor--although she holds a broker's license in order to manage property--and does not sell any property or even practice law in real estate matters any longer.
