About Jeri
Biography
Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that I was born to fight for the underdog. My dad, Stanley, was a lawyer in Laurel, Maryland when it was still a small town and most everyone knew each other. During law school, I clerked for a prominent criminal defense lawyer in suburban Maryland who dedicated his life to defending the accused against the power of the state. Both are now gone, but I strive to honor their values and principles in my criminal defense practice today.
I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics and received my law degree from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. After law school, I worked for both a mid-size and small firm in Washington, D.C. defending South American companies accused of unfair trade practices by the United States government. After several years, I moved to Colorado to pursue a private practice focused on representing individuals charged with misdemeanors and felonies in the Colorado mountains area. I practice only criminal defense.
