James Stanley has over 35 years’ experience in criminal and DUI law. He has handled thousands of criminal cases and has conducted over 150 jury trials to verdict. Mr. Stanley is a former Colorado Senior Deputy District Attorney. This background and experience provides a unique ability to effectively evaluate the merits of a criminal case, detect defects in police investigations, recognize when an individual's constitutional rights have been violated, discover procedural errors and make the right decisions on how to handle the case. These skills come from evaluating thousands of police investigations and preparing criminal and DUI cases for trial.
Mr. Stanley, with years of experience as a former senior prosecutor, has unique insight into what is involved with the decision-making process and analysis of a criminal prosecution. He has knowledge and understanding of how the criminal justice system works and uses what he has learned over many years to benefit his clients. Knowing how decision makers, the prosecutors and the judges, think and analyze a case provides a solid basis to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. He has extensive experience with every category of criminal offense, including Murder, Assault, Drug Offenses, Theft, Financial Crimes, Domestic Violence and DUI.
Mr. Stanley's law practice focuses on helping individuals accused of a crime or DUI in Colorado.
