I spoke with Ms. Ruttenberg in 2015 regarding postconviction motions in Colorado and she was able to relate the procedure, the elements for the argument I was looking to make, and how the courts were currently ruling on the issue. In about a 20 minute phone call (she called me back when the service d...ropped) she was able to convey the general likelihood of success of the motion as well as other, tangential but relevant information about my issue. I decided not to pursue it, but was impressed with the professionalism and candor Ms. Ruttenberg had. I would feel very confident that my issue would have been presented with as much prudence and thoroughness as could be expected. Highly recommended.

Alison took time to hear my case, it was complicated. Alison committed to representing us on numerous lawsuits. She asked me to pay the filing fees. I paid the fees, then found out that she was including numerous others in the case, yet I was the only one she asked for payment from. We were given very inaccurate information and timelines. She refused to... provide us with the documents related to the lawsuits that we requested. When we contacted her, upset that we had no communication in months, she was very rude and unprofessional. She found the first opportunity to drop us from the lawsuits, and refused to refund our filing fees for cases she removed us from. We are a struggling family with nine children, and she abused and exploited us. Now we have lost precious time and money in the matters that have very strict timeframes for legal action!
