I have a friend that is in a similar legal situation as me. I attended this friends hearing to modify the terms of his probation supervision. It was after the hearing (where the terms of his probation were successfully modified) that I met Alison. I introduced myself, and congratulated her on how ...well the case was presented and how convincingly she disputed the District Attorney’s attempts to deny the modification requests. She took the time to listen to my situation and provided me with her contact information. After we left the courthouse, I asked my friend to allow me read the motion that she had filed for him. Upon reading the motion, which was very well put together, I concluded that Alison was the right attorney to hire and attempt to get my probation supervision terms modified. The motion had a precise timeline of events spanning the years of my friends probation supervision, it was clear that Alison gets to know her clients situation and grievances. It was also clear that she gathered, completely, all of the facts that pertained to the case. The motion also contained reference to several other court cases, of similar nature, previously argued (and won) by Alison. These were used to show legal precedents. Furthermore there was evidence provided from third party ‘experts in their field’ that supported the request for modification was both morally and legally permissible. I was convinced Alison does all the homework necessary to provide the best possibility for her clients to obtain satisfactory, successful outcomes. I was so impressed with the motion that she filed, I made a call to her when I got home. Within a few hours, Alison returned my call and we went thru the details of my case again. We arranged a payment plan that allowed my motion to be filled immediately while not consuming my entire budget. From the time the motion was filed right up to the hearing date, Alison was readily available to answer questions, listen to concerns, and incorporate information into her argument, which I thought might be helpful in my case. Never once did she leave me wondering ‘is my attorney still working for me’. Her replies were quick, and concise. The outcome of my hearing was also a success, all of the modifications requested to my supervision terms were granted, despite numerous attempts during the hearing from both Probation and the District Attorney to persuade to judge to deny the requests. I have every confidence that Alison Ruttenberg will work as hard for you as she did for me.

"I endorse this lawyer. Alison is a superstar among lawyers. If I had a criminal charge, sex offense charge, parole or probation revocation, or 1983 Police Abuse issue, I would call Alison. Alison enjoys the respect of the Colorado criminal defense bar and is a kind and caring lawyer."
