I spoke with Ms. Ruttenberg in 2015 regarding postconviction motions in Colorado and she was able to relate the procedure, the elements for the argument I was looking to make, and how the courts were currently ruling on the issue. In about a 20 minute phone call (she called me back when the service d...ropped) she was able to convey the general likelihood of success of the motion as well as other, tangential but relevant information about my issue. I decided not to pursue it, but was impressed with the professionalism and candor Ms. Ruttenberg had.
