Extremely friendly & caring about our situation !

VERY quick to respond & of the 4 attorneys we have spoken with so far we FINALLY found an attorney that had the experience & knowledge to represent us !!! The others all used scare tactics & just pushed for us to send them money ? Lindasue cared about or situation first & foremost ! We are going ...in to meet her & hire her today !

I recommend this attorney

Linda Sue saw me through my legal case during a very stressful time in my life. She handled my case from start to finish and didn’t miss a beat when it came to legal maneuvering and timing. It was clear that she knew this area of law inside and out and provided very good guidance throughout. In the ...courtroom it was obvious that she was well respected and knew her way around procedure and protocol. She knew the individual judges and adjusted her presentation to address their particular likes or dislikes. It was clear that she had established herself as a respected officer of the court and did not need to indulge in unnecessary posturing. In bringing my case to resolution she pursued every possible angle without wasting precious time and money on unnecessarily antagonistic proceedings . She discussed every option for moving forward with me and had me make the final decision on crucial issues. She always called and informed me when there was any movement on the part of the DA or the Court and sent me copies of all information and documents she received . I never hesitated to call if I had a question and she returned my phone calls promptly. If she was in trial or couldn’t address my question immediately she made arrangements to get back to me in a timely manner. She did not waste my time or money pursuing things, that in her professional judgment, would be futile and she used the fees I paid her economically. She was also a good source of emotional support, recognizing when I was developing a “defeatist” attitude and provided strength and perspective when I ran out of my own. It was my observation that she stays on top of her game, devoting a lot of time to continuing legal education in her areas of expertise. I would recommend Lindasue highly to anyone who wants a tough, no-nonsense attorney who also has a lot of heart and compassion and puts her clients’ needs first.

she plays both sides, not a good attorney, poor at best, drops the ball for her client

This attorney was not usually there for us, there were a few times where she told us on the phone 'to shut up' and a number of times would hang up on us. We were extermely fustrated with her unprofessionism as well as her lack of represtenting us. On several occassions she spoke with the other part...y (ex-wife) because the ex-wife had no attorney, then she would bill US for the minutes of the phone conversation! When brought to her attention she would not back down. There are very good attorneys out there, she is not one of them. Before and after court preceedings she spent too much time running around the court house visiting with her peers instead of spending the time with her client.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known and worked with Lindasue Smollen for over 20 years in the criminal defense community. Lindasue is one of the most dedicated, tenacious trial attorneys I have ever known and I have always admired her courage and commitment to take on the toughest cases and do whatever is needed to defend her clients. I realize she has had a temporary bump in the road, but nonetheless, Lindasue knows her stuff inside and out and is a great criminal defense trial attorney."
