I was at a difficult time in my life and unfortunately needed to file for bankruptcy. This was not part of my plan. Some how I found Bart Balis. He is fantastic. He guided me through the process with compassion and dignity. He was thorough, patient with all of my questions and uncertainties, and extremely confidential. I would highly recommend Bart for his expertise in the bankruptcy.

Filing for bankruptcy was an extremely difficult and emotional time. Bart was referred to me by my tax lawyer at the time. When I first consulted with Bart, he sat down with me for an hour or more, answered all my questions in great detail, gave me straight answers and guided me through what the process would be like and how it would affect my life and financial outlook going forward. He helped me make the difficult decision to file, and he and his staff we there for me through the entire, extremely detailed and often difficult process with the courts. There were a few gotchas along the way, but Bart had the experience and knew how to get through. The US courts are a hurry-up-and-wait game, and it took an extreme amount of patience to get through. Bart educated me along the way, at every step and at every gotcha, and we made it through. Bankruptcy is not something to be taken lightly, but life goes on afterwards. It does not define you, but does take its toll. Having someone with Bart's experience made the experience as easy as it could be. And it's not easy...
