After more than 20 years as a Denver litigator, my experiences in the court system lead me to believe that for most Colorado divorce case, the court system was the wrong way to resolve a divorce case.  The customary "day in court' approach was way too expensive financially and emotionally.  It also caused irreparible damage to the relationships of everyone involved.   So, I have punted on that approach to helping people and becamed trained in mediation to help people find workable solutions to their individual situations.  

 

As a lawyer, litigator, certified divorce financial analyst, and a person who had lived through divorce as a child and an adult, I have developed one of the most cost effective and fair processes in Colorado to help parties get through their divorce with a fair, workable, and practical result.  Endorsed by the BBB for over 15 years, my services are available to you today.

Mediation services concerning divorce
Scott was clear and concise with his information concerning the legal paperwork due with our divorce. We had two meetings with Scott, and they both went smoothly. He stated at the beginning what his fee would be and when everything was done, the fee was what he originally quoted.

Pleasant, to the point, fast and efficient
We feel that Scott was very good about listening to our needs, telling us the facts, and taking care of us without any delay. We were very surprised as how quickly he got our paperwork done. We never felt any bias and he was easy to talk to.

Scott was excellent
Scott did an excellent job of guiding my ex-husband and I to a fair agreement, keeping the best interest of our children in mind. I appreciate his responsiveness and guidance even after the mediation session. I highly recommend Scott for divorce mediation.

Thanks to Scott Barwowary for making a stressful time in life easier!!
As the title stated, going through a divorce with a young child can be quite stressful but thanks to Scott for making it painless for me when I had so many other things going on in life. He was quick to response to emails or calls and also quick at making the changes needed so that we were able to complete the necessary paperwork. Calm Waters
Scott did an amazing job of calmly and fairly guiding my ex-husband and i through a very tough time. He was direct in his approach but very fair and sensitive. Scott has a broad understanding of the law and helped us reach an agreement that was fair for everyone. His fees were very fair and reasonable.

Mediation for Divorce
Scott was excellent and a professional throughout the entire process. He was able to quickly discern what we needed and in the best interest of both parties and while be very understanding to the situation. He was available via a phone call or email whenever we ran into a snag or needed clarification. I would highly recommend Scott for his legal services.

Extremely happy with Mr. Baroway!
My husband and I used Mr. Baroway as mediation for our recent divorce and he was amazing! Everything went smoothly and the filing clerk was very impressed that ALL the paperwork was in tact and complete and there was absolutely nothing missing. He was extremely professional, un-biased, informative and very helpful in every way. Although I hope I never need his services again, he is the first person I will call.

I recommend Scott
Scott was our mediator during our divorce. Since the divorce happened in late 2014, he was very helpful in explaining the new Colorado guidelines that were implemented in January 2014. All questions were answered in a timely and very professional manner. All nuances of custody and maintenance language was also clearly explained. I would recommend Scott.

Divorce Mediation
Scott was attentive to our needs from the beginning of the settlement process through to the filing of our papers for divorce with the court. His knowledge of the legal rights of each party was a key to our smooth and quick settlement agreement with the court. Scott was also patient as both of us needed time to sort out our financial agreement in a slow and methodical manner. Finally, Scott always made time to meet with us in a location that was convenient for both of us.
