Recently moved to Denver, hadn't driven in many years, and managed to rack up 2 speeding tickets within a 2 week period. I spoke with a few different attorneys, some referred and some found on the Google. What stood out about Kevin: 1. His fees are very reasonable compared to all the other attorn...eys I had contact with. 2. When he spoke with me, he was extremely friendly, didn't make it sound like he was doing me a favor, and when I called twice because I was still deciding, he took my call, answered my questions, again, and told me he'd be available should I request his representation. 3. Some attorneys told me to go ahead and sign up for a defensive driving course to demonstrate a willingness to address issues. Now, I was totally willing to do that, but the courses are expensive and I didn't want to pay for one, unless I had to. Kevin was the only person who recommended I hold out until he had spoken with the city/state's attorney. That saved me a LOT of money. 4. Kevin was proactive in figuring out an earlier date for appearance, kept me updated through text messages, and sent me information on the disposition as soon as it was available. AND, I didn't need to show up for court - which may have been the case with some other attorneys, except for the fact that speaking with them did NOT give me a sense of confidence about them. The goal should always be to NOT get tickets, but if you do, then you certainly want someone like Kevin who can take the wheel, negotiate a reasonable fine and lower the point penalty (though that is always contingent on your record). Would DEFINITELY recommend him.
