Joe was rude and very unprofessional. He created more animosity and tension in an already hostile situation. His communications with the other party were incredibly unprofessional; this included name calling via emails. His communications with me lacked any legal advice or preparation. In the end, he... failed to include some pertinent material in the final documents as well as failure to keep me updated on events that were taking place/needed to take place. I was never advised as to what he was including in the settlement, nor did he discuss any of the processes. Rather, he would be put out when I asked questions. I wouldn't recommend Joe to anyone.

I met Joe several years ago thru a mutual friend. At the time I was in severe legal trouble and needless to say I was distraught. However even then, something that stuck out in my memory, was that friend repeatedly referred to Joe as the "Bull dog" of lawyers. At the time I was more than a little ske...ptical, and thought that my case was hopeless. However I was quickly realized what my friend meant; Joe was not intimated to go in head first and fight to get me a fair verdict, in spite of an overzealous DA. To this day I thank Joe for what he did for me. He allowed me to keep my freedom when I thought it was lost, and I truly believe I wouldn't be where I am today if I wasn't for him. In short, if you want a lawyer who will feed you a line to get your patronage, go else where. But if you want some one who knows the system, is up front with you, and will work tirelessly to get you the best possible verdict, then go with Joe.

Joe was there when my family needed him. He showed an excellent knowledge of the ends and outs of the law, was always very responsive and took a personal interest in our case. In the end, he was able to obtain the best of all possible outcomes. I have already recommended him to other friends wh...en they were in need of an attorney. Don't expect just lip service. He listens, and tells you the truth in the matter and does everything he can on behalf of his client. I deal with professionals in various fields every day. Joe Scheideler is a true professional, not one who simply performs a job.
