I began practicing law in New York City where I served as an Assistant DA in the DA's office from 1974 to 1977. I left the office as Deputy Chief of Narcotics however, back then, the Narcotics bureau also handled rape, robbery, sex crimes and other criminal trials. I won all but one of my trials while there. Geraldine Ferraro was in that office with me. From 1977 through 1979 I was an associate with Harold Borg, a defense attorney who represented many well-known mob figures. Having six years varied experience at that time, I went out on my own until 1992 when I remarried and moved to the Denver area. I am still admitted in New York.
I began my practice in Denver with a family attorney, Richard Pittam, where I honed my family law skills, however, I have always practiced primarily in the criminal arena. After 20 years in Denver, I have gotten to know most of the judges and clerks in the greater Denver front range and have tried over 200 trial cases, mostly domestic violence defense where I have won 45 of 48 trials. I enjoy trial law and have branched out into personal injury law as well.
I've been televized by Fox News Live as a defense expert during the Kobe Bryant rape case, as well as numerous radio appearances on Tom Martino's show.
If you're looking for wide experience and over 35 years of practice in many areas, I think my office may be a good choice.

This joker doesn’t care about law, justice, or his clients, he cares about his pocket book and his Jaguar. He should have retired decades ago when he wasn’t asleep at the wheel. Shame on you Joe.

Joe was rude and very unprofessional. He created more animosity and tension in an already hostile situation. His communications with the other party were incredibly unprofessional; this included name calling via emails. His communications with me lacked any legal advice or preparation. In the end, he...

However even then, something that stuck out in my memory, was that friend repeatedly referred to Joe as the "Bull dog" of lawyers. At the time I was more than a little ske...
