Mr. Eley and his staff handled my case with care and were very speedy about handling the situation. The whole office was very professional and experienced. I would recommend Mr. Eley and his associates to anyone needing workmans comp representation!

Following a concussion suffered at work, and then a second, more debilitating, head injury because the first one hadn't fully healed, I spent far more time dealing with the (rather broken) workers' comp system than I ever wanted to. In my view the workers' comp system is definitely in need of substantial reform. While relaying all of the problems I encountered to members of my family, I often summed it up as "a crack in society that you don't want to fall into".
But if you can get Cliff as your workers' comp attorney, you will be in excellent hands. The list of things that sets Cliff Eley apart from the other attorneys I've interacted with over the past 22 months includes the following:
1) Time management. Cliff has an excellent memory and he's very much on the ball with everything he does. For the first year I had an attorney who always seemed to have something more pressing, whether it be a good reason why he couldn't take (or return) your phone call from 4 or 5 days ago, or why you failed to ever get a response to some important questions you sent via email, after 2 or 3 weeks have already passed. In stark contrast, Cliff is outstanding with his communication. Even though you know he's dealing with plenty of other cases and concerns, when you're interacting with him you could be fooled into thinking that your case is the only thing he has going on right now.
2) Very much hands-on. Other firms are great at keeping you at arms length: you call and get a gatekeeper, and maybe if you're lucky they'll let you talk to a paralegal. Not so with Cliff. Cliff is front and center, active in all aspects of the firm, and a rare and precious opportunity to quickly get incredible expertise without jumping through a lot of hoops.
3) A straight shooter. Cliff strikes me as very pragmatic, and he presents things with a realistic and tempered view of what's likely to happen based on his wealth of experience. He's great at explaining things that you need to know and understand. I didn't get these feelings with other attorneys with whom I discussed my case. Many of them seemed focused on "selling me" on something, or tried to bedazzle me with lofty figures. Frankly I didn't trust many of them - including the first attorney which I foolishly endured for a year, only to have him prove in the end that my lack of faith in him was well-founded.
4) Well respected. I wish I had met Cliff Eley much sooner, and had the good fortune of starting this lengthy process with him as my attorney from day one. As things turned out I ended up consulting with Cliff at numerous critical junctures, and he gave me a lot of helpful advice and guidance as my case wound its way through a hearing and an appeal. From time to time I mentioned his name to other attorneys and I found it quite revealing that all of them had nothing but good things to say about Cliff - and that even includes people who were on the other side, representing the insurance company.
That respect, and Cliff's expertise, really bore fruit when the insurance company boldly tried to ignore the judge's final written order (which largely found in my favor). Unsure what to do next - and anticipating that I was going to have to file more papers with the court - I once again consulted with Cliff.
Cliff fixed the matter with a phone call. With one phone call to the insurance company's attorney the matter was instantly resolved. I know that I could not have gotten that result on my own. Not only did it save me a ton of time, it probably saved me a ton of money too.
In my view Cliff is definitely "one of the good guys". I highly recommend him for your workers' comp questions and concerns, and I feel confident that if you hire him as your attorney you won't be disappointed.

Mr. Eley helped me out tremendously. He responded to my initial inquiry by email, within a couple of hours of me first making contact, and it was on a holiday. He asked the right questions but he also already had the answers I needed right away. If you need help or just have questions about Workers Comp Law, call him right away. He never pushed or tried to wiggle his way in to get any money from me.

Cliff helped me even before I retained him. While other attorney's blew me off, Cliff answered my questions, explained my options and was there for me. When I finally needed representation, he didn't say no like the others. He took my case even though it was difficult to win. He was a true advocate, a true professional and most important, a true friend. I wish I was able to settle for more money because Cliff was worth so much more than what I could pay him. Cliff is not only an excellent attorney, he is an awesome person!

My wife was recently exposed to asbestos in her workplace. We found Mr. Eley through a Google search and couldn't be more happy. Because my wife is not showing any symptoms, she does not have a current claim. However, due to an error on her employer's part, we still had significant paperwork to file.
Mr. Eley carefully listened to our problems and offered to handle all of paperwork himself. He made calls to judges and court administrators to determine the best course of action and then successfully filed an appeal. We're now comfortable that when, and if, she experiences symptoms, we'll be properly covered.
With no hope of an immediate judgement, I doubt that many other injury attorneys would have taken our case. Mr. Eley did all of this hard work without any hope of financial gain. All of our communications were directly with Mr. Eley himself -- not junior lawyers or clerks. I don't think we could have found a more competent, conscientious or caring individual.
Hopefully, we'll never need the services of a personal injury attorney again. But if we do, you can bet we'll be calling Mr. Eley first and he'll be the first person we recommend to others. Forget the TV lawyers with their ridiculous claims -- Mr. Eley is the real thing.

I called Mr. Eley with questions concerning my employer contacting my Dr. with inappropriate questions regarding his medical diagnosis. Mr. Eley was super informative of the law and sent me information to help stop their harassment. If I ever need to hire an attorney for my case it will certainly be Mr. Eley.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Eley on my workmen's compensation case, during this time he was more than helpful with things beyond the injury/cases its self. He was very well aware of the law and limitations of the law and the possible outcome(s) pros and cons of decisions or direction we should move… It is my personal belief that he genuinely cares about you as an individual/ client more than what he can make. He has a wonderful staff that is very professional and knows you by name and are willing to go the out of there way to best assist you as an individual…
