Excellent Service

Cliff Eley gave me back my faith that not all lawyers are out for themselves. He handled my claim according to my wishes and with his knowledge. Excellent attorney. I highly recommend the Eley Law Firm!!!

Highly Recommend

If you are looking for a lawyer to help with your Workman's Comp claim, I would highly recommend Cliff Eley. I have consulted with Cliff for the past year on my claim and he was always very responsive (even on weekends), clear, and extremely knowledgeable. He would provide me with direct answers to... my questions, providing both the pros and cons to the various concerns. I will definitely use him again if any issues arise. He is very easy to talk with, not intimidating. He helped me through the process of negotiating a settlement agreement and will also review the Final Admission document when received to ensure my interests are protected.

Character counts

Following a concussion suffered at work, and then a second, more debilitating, head injury because the first one hadn't fully healed, I spent far more time dealing with the (rather broken) workers' comp system than I ever wanted to. In my view the workers' comp system is definitely in need of substan...tial reform. While relaying all of the problems I encountered to members of my family, I often summed it up as "a crack in society that you don't want to fall into". But if you can get Cliff as your workers' comp attorney, you will be in excellent hands. The list of things that sets Cliff Eley apart from the other attorneys I've interacted with over the past 22 months includes the following: 1) Time management. Cliff has an excellent memory and he's very much on the ball with everything he does. For the first year I had an attorney who always seemed to have something more pressing, whether it be a good reason why he couldn't take (or return) your phone call from 4 or 5 days ago, or why you failed to ever get a response to some important questions you sent via email, after 2 or 3 weeks have already passed. In stark contrast, Cliff is outstanding with his communication. Even though you know he's dealing with plenty of other cases and concerns, when you're interacting with him you could be fooled into thinking that your case is the only thing he has going on right now. 2) Very much hands-on. Other firms are great at keeping you at arms length: you call and get a gatekeeper, and maybe if you're lucky they'll let you talk to a paralegal. Not so with Cliff. Cliff is front and center, active in all aspects of the firm, and a rare and precious opportunity to quickly get incredible expertise without jumping through a lot of hoops. 3) A straight shooter. Cliff strikes me as very pragmatic, and he presents things with a realistic and tempered view of what's likely to happen based on his wealth of experience. He's great at explaining things that you need to know and understand. I didn't get these feelings with other attorneys with whom I discussed my case. Many of them seemed focused on "selling me" on something, or tried to bedazzle me with lofty figures. Frankly I didn't trust many of them - including the first attorney which I foolishly endured for a year, only to have him prove in the end that my lack of faith in him was well-founded. 4) Well respected. I wish I had met Cliff Eley much sooner, and had the good fortune of starting this lengthy process with him as my attorney from day one. As things turned out I ended up consulting with Cliff at numerous critical junctures, and he gave me a lot of helpful advice and guidance as my case wound its way through a hearing and an appeal. From time to time I mentioned his name to other attorneys and I found it quite revealing that all of them had nothing but good things to say about Cliff - and that even includes people who were on the other side, representing the insurance company. That respect, and Cliff's expertise, really bore fruit when the insurance company boldly tried to ignore the judge's final written order (which largely found in my favor). Unsure what to do next - and anticipating that I was going to have to file more papers with the court - I once again consulted with Cliff. Cliff fixed the matter with a phone call. With one phone call to the insurance company's attorney the matter was instantly resolved. I know that I could not have gotten that result on my own. Not only did it save me a ton of time, it probably saved me a ton of money too. In my view Cliff is definitely "one of the good guys". I highly recommend him for your workers' comp questions and concerns, and I feel confident that if you hire him as your attorney you won't be disappointed.
