About Michelle
Biography
I grew up in Iowa and graduated from Wartburg College with a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science. I attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and graduated in 2004. I worked as a real estate agent for several years until I started the Kuennen Law Firm in 2010. My law firm represents individuals filing bankruptcy in Jefferson and Denver counties.
Bankruptcy can be difficult and stressful, but I enjoy helping people through the process. After filing bankruptcy, my clients are in a better position, both financially and emotionally.
I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association (Business/Bankruptcy subsection), the Colorado Consumer Bankruptcy Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Colorado Women's Bar Association (Legal Services Committee Member). I volunteer at Law Line 9 and Legal Night at Centro de San Juan Diego, giving advice to people with various legal issues. I enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, reading and spending time with my friends, family and two dogs.
