Linda Kapsak

Linda was not organized, was constantly late on things, had no clear objectives, did not inform me of certain laws that would have helped me better understand what I needed to do as a concerned parent. I do not know for certain, but I felt like she was in collaboration with other family lawyer than s...he was with her own client (me). I paid her $30k in which she didn’t finish the case because she knew she was defeated. I did ultimately lose my rights as a parent because of her inability to do her job early in the process. She had no real victories that derived from her own intellect. I would not recommend her or hire her again.

Working with Linda was incredible. I was at such a vulnerable place in my separation, and Linda made this so much easier. Obviously, no one wants to get divorced, and I was particularly shocked and emotional throughout the process. The most remarkable quality Linda had was just making me feel validat...ed. She listened to me, was comforting to me, gave realistic solutions, and treated me with such kindness and empathy. She would take the time to ask about my daughter, my friends, my job, just because she cared and genuinely wanted the best for me. I’ll never forget how touched that made me feel, and is something I would never expect of an attorney. But she was more than a lawyer to me - instead a guiding force. I appreciate how she treated me like a person first - a friend, even, and how that made me feel more level headed to take on the divorce process with gusto. Additionally, Linda was professional and fantastic at her job. She kept cost considerations in mind the entire time which was extra nice. Linda was always professional, had knowledge of the legal system that opposing counsel didn’t even seem to have, and always spoke honestly with me. She found solutions, got creative with me, and had my back through many frustrating situations in the divorce process. I would absolutely recommend Linda to anyone getting divorced. For me, it helped that she wasn’t dissimilar to me - friendly, young, a motivator for other women, and at times even funny. :) She made the legal system accessible for me: someone who had never thought she would be in this situation. The world needs more Lindas! :)

Linda was wonderful to work with, very professional, and informative. Her work ethic proved to be a great help in my case. She was always fast to reply, and never left anything hanging. Even when she went on vacation, she kept me up-to-date with information. I definitely recommend her to anyone deali...ng with a family law case. I had a consultation meeting with her prior to hiring her, and I learned that she was going to be the right lawyer for me, but she was dedicated to the task and wouldn’t let me down.

Linda came highly recommended, and I was very happy with my decision to hire her. She was flexible and fair in terms of figuring out pricing and what level of service worked best for me at various stages of my case. She was always communicative, organized, calm, kind, and exceedingly knowledgeable. I... can’t say enough wonderful things about how pleasant my experience has been with Linda and Alyssa, despite the frustrating situation that evolved with my ex-spouse. Many thanks to both of you for helping me navigate what turned out to be a more complicated and stressful process that I originally anticipated when I filed.
