Biography
I have been practicing family law in Colorado for over 20 years, and have offices in Denver and Aspen, but I handle cases all over the state. My goal is always to get my client through the legal process with a high degree of dignity and respect. Family Law deals with people's lives in a more direct way than many types of legal proceedings. I don't lose sight of the fact that each client's case involves much more than names and numbers on a page.
My negotiation and problem solving skills make it possible for me to resolve a high percentage of my cases without the need for a trial. However, I enjoy going to court when the case requires that approach. As a result, other lawyers sometimes refer cases to me when their settlement efforts have been unsuccessful and a trial is inevitable.
