Terrible Experience in an Already Stressful Scenario

Knicky is nice and informative, but I feel absolutely taken advantage of financially. My husband and I are remaining married but pursued legal separation for other reasons. Even with a minor, our separation was almost entirely uncontested and agreeable. Somehow working with her cost me more than $15...,000. When I looked into it, I was billed for weekly internal meetings that, in my opinion, should have either been open for me to attend or overhead and not billable to the client. When I reviewed the agreement with the billing department and expressed my concerns about being charged more than $2000 for these meetings, I was basically told they reserve the right (in not so many words). She and her paralegal insisted on continuing working on my case (and thereby racking up my bill) despite 3 separate emails asking them to pause. I am glad my days working together are behind me and would not recommend her or Colorado Legal Group.
