Excellent Results

My son is a Purple Heart retired disabled Veteran and was being denied Social Security. I was referred to Will who took on the case. Will did a good job always answered emails or questions promptly - he and his office staff was kind and professional. Will was well versed in Social Security issues and... had knowledge with Veteran issues, after a second denial and another appeal of the decision he continued to represent him and we worked through the case to a positive decision.

Extremely helpful for SSDI

I engaged Will to assist me in my process to get approval for my SSDI application. When I engaged him, I'd been waiting for an in-person hearing for about a year. His knowledge of the process, people and attentiveness to my case were invaluable. We were well prepared for the hearing and I was approv...ed. I highly recommend Will for anyone in the same situation.

Great Attorney!

Mr. Dawson is very considerate, he listens to you and understands your pain. You can call him with any questions about your case, and if he was in trial, he always returned my calls when he returned. He knows the Social Security system very well and he has a high success rate. I'm one of them. He... also has a wonderful legal assistant, Kathrine.

Calm, caring and knows his stuff

I was referred to Will when stepping in to help a sibling in her efforts to attain SSDI benefits. She had been dealing with bipolar disorder for a many years and also had many work-related physical issues that made it almost impossible for her to get and/or keep a job. Will provided the advice an...d guidance I needed to start her application process, which was a huge help. When her initial claim was denied, Will again helped me navigate the SSI/SSDI labyrinth to file her appeal. This was all done before he even accepted her case. Will's talents and expertise really came to the fore when my sister was granted a hearing for her appeal. His background as an attorney for the Social Security Administration gave us great confidence as he knew the system from the inside-out. Will met with us a few months in advance of the appeal to walk us through the process and made sure we had all our ducks in a row regarding medical records, records from social services, etc. Most important to me, he wanted to get to know my sister, hear her "story" and came to intimately understand her situation. As the hearing got close, we met again and Will prepped us for the hearing as only someone who knew the system could. He explained what the hearing would be like, who the judge was, what kind of questions to expect, and advised us on how to best answer those expected questions. As I was helping my sister so much, Will also wanted me to testify on her behalf. His prep helped me feel relatively comfortable answering the judge's questions, plus he arranged for me to make a statement to the court. In the end, with Will's help, my sister won the appeal and has since received the benefits she so desperately needs to survive. In a nutshell, William Dawson is an excellent attorney in his area of specialization. He has a very calm, caring demeanor, has a depth of knowledge few can equal and is very professional. On top of that, he's a genuinely warm, very likable man who is committed to helping his clients. I would highly recommend him.

The best decision I've made in a long time

Deciding to have Will Dawson represent me was the best decision I have made in a long time. I thought I could navigate the Social Security Disability system on my own, but met with rejection. Mr Dawson knew EXACTLY what needed to be done, presented my disability in a manner that allowed approval an...d was able get it all completed in an expeditious manner. I was totally amazed at how effective he was being able to get an approval for me. I HIGHLY recommend his experience and expertise to anyone with a valid disability who has not been able to get approval on their own.
