The Best Social Security Lawyer in Denver Colorado

If your looking for a Social Security Attorney I highly recomend William Thomas Dawson from Denver Colorado, I can guarantee you will be satisfied with his professionalism, knowledge of the law, persistance with your case, and compassionate nature. Initially I had applied for disability myself and wa...s denied, after that I thought I would look into hiring an Attorney for some assistance, obviously I was foreign to the process and had I known what I do now, I would have gone directly to an Attorney before attempting my own pursuit. I was also unaware that disability lawyers do not receive compensation unless they win your case. When I first met Mr. Dawson at his office, which was at a very nice location and peaceful atmosphere, I knew right away I had made a good choice when he walked in the room. He was very kind and pleasant to work with. We sat down and talked about my case, that it had been denied once already and that I had appealed this with an upcoming court hearing. I gave Mr. Dawson all the facts I had and he immediately took over my case and helped me through the entire process, his caring and calm demeanor, knowledge of the Law and social security process gave me great confidence that I was in good hands and had made the right choice for representation. I signed some release forms and he immediately pursued acquiring all my medical records, I really didn’t have to do anything after that point. Our first appearance in Court was tough though, the judge was brutal Im not going to lie it wasn’t easy, however Mr. Dawson remained very professional and respectful to the Judge, walking me through questions and taking over when I didn’t know how to respond. As we left the courtroom he thought it went well, I thought it didn’t go so good and unfortunatly I was right as they denied my claim again we found out several months later, it’s not a short process. So here is the amazing part about Mr. Dawson, after two denials from the social security division Mr. Dawson didn’t give up on me and told me right away I’m going to appeal this again for you, I don’t believe this is right, I didn’t even have to ask him. I was so very thankfull that he was willing to pursue another attempt as I truly needed the help. The disease I acquired a few years back is called Stiff Persons syndrome, a horribly debilitating rare disease that many Doctor's don’t even know exists, how could they not understand how much I needed help It was so disapointing. I was an avid runner, extremely active in so many areas of life, now laying in bed 95% of the day because my legs don’t work well. All my medical records speak for themselves so I just didn’t understand why they denied me. I don’t know exactly what Mr. Dawson did because there wasn’t allot of change in my medical condition, maybe a little more deterioration as I seem to be going downhill more each year, however he managed to successfully change there position and they ruled in favor rewarding me not only with disability, but they also backdated it two additional years. I wasn’t expecting this but the truth is I hadn’t worked in 5 years because of the disease and I am so grateful for his help. I will always be indebted to Mr. Dawson for his continued hard work, commitment to pursuing what is right and his persistence in helping me. I would give all the money in the world to have my health back, but since this disease is incurable I have to make due with what the future has in store. I just can’t say enough great things about Mr. Dawson though I really can’t, his commitment to helping me, and most of all obtaining a final positive outcome I couldn’t have done this myself. He worked very hard on my behalf and I highly recommend if you need help with Social Security, give him a call. Ron

Calm, caring and knows his stuff

I was referred to Will when stepping in to help a sibling in her efforts to attain SSDI benefits. She had been dealing with bipolar disorder for a many years and also had many work-related physical issues that made it almost impossible for her to get and/or keep a job. Will provided the advice an...d guidance I needed to start her application process, which was a huge help. When her initial claim was denied, Will again helped me navigate the SSI/SSDI labyrinth to file her appeal. This was all done before he even accepted her case. Will's talents and expertise really came to the fore when my sister was granted a hearing for her appeal. His background as an attorney for the Social Security Administration gave us great confidence as he knew the system from the inside-out. Will met with us a few months in advance of the appeal to walk us through the process and made sure we had all our ducks in a row regarding medical records, records from social services, etc. Most important to me, he wanted to get to know my sister, hear her "story" and came to intimately understand her situation. As the hearing got close, we met again and Will prepped us for the hearing as only someone who knew the system could. He explained what the hearing would be like, who the judge was, what kind of questions to expect, and advised us on how to best answer those expected questions. As I was helping my sister so much, Will also wanted me to testify on her behalf. His prep helped me feel relatively comfortable answering the judge's questions, plus he arranged for me to make a statement to the court. In the end, with Will's help, my sister won the appeal and has since received the benefits she so desperately needs to survive. In a nutshell, William Dawson is an excellent attorney in his area of specialization. He has a very calm, caring demeanor, has a depth of knowledge few can equal and is very professional. On top of that, he's a genuinely warm, very likable man who is committed to helping his clients. I would highly recommend him.
