Laura was recommended to me by a highly respected lawyer that had thought so much of her when he came up against her that he suggested we use her when we needed to go through the Medicaid application process for my sister. Laura got us successfully through the eligibility maze, helped to organize as...sets, explained each step clearly and sequentially and ultimately got my sister onto Medicaid. This was extremely important for my sister's care and for our family. Because of Laura's work and continued advice, we were able to get the best care for her possible. When she passed away everything was so well executed that we were able to get through that quickly and smoothly. Also, there were more assets left and protected than we every would have thought possible. Laura' attention to detail and her ongoing consultation and advice allowed us to make the best decisions possible and to benefit in the end. She also worked on our estate planning and is continuing to offer advice and to complete the legal work related to my sister's estate and medicaid. I am not sure who the person who posted the negative review met with but it could NOT be Laura Mathews. Laura is nothing but excellent at everything she does. She will bend over backwards to make sure she is doing the best for all of her clients and will only do what is in their best interest at all... times. She understands that when dealing with people with family members who have specials needs that she may need to accomodate their unique schedules and availabity and has offered to not only come to a person's home, but offers to come in the evenings and even on weekends to sign documents. Not only will Laura be flexible on scheduling appointments, but she often offers a payment plan for her fees knowing that some people need their assets to support their family. Laura's integrity is her number one asset and I would never hestitate to refer her to any of my friends and family. Ask anyone who has had the amazing experience of working with Laura and they will tell you that she is knowledable, kind, caring, considerate, and above all else nothing less than a true advocate for her clients.
