Laura saved my father and our family from Arapahoe County Social Services 6 years ago and then facilitated the execution of his will & trust documents to protect everyone. Subsequently she has served as a valued and trusted attorney through a variety of other issues. She is incredibly smart, has a ...photographic memory, really knows the law in many different specialties, including elder care, special needs, estate planning, litigation, business law, etc. She is caring and compassionate, a true professional. Many underestimate her abilities, not a good idea, especially if you are the opposition. She is worth every penny we have spent and more. We couldn't have asked for a better, more effective attorney and will always have her as part of our team.

We hired Laura last year after another attorney was representing our needs with guardianship & conservatorship. This other attorney charged us crazy high rates and didn't do much at all to help or educate us through the process. I met with Laura and immediately knew she would take GREAT care of us an...d fight passionately to make sure what we needed happened. Laura has been working on many different things for us and she has years of experience and knowledge you can't get from just anyone. She ALWAYS put the needs the the client FIRST!

My family and I have tried working with Ms. Mathews regarding several legal services that she supposedly offers including Living Will and Estate planning as well as fund management among other services. In each occasion, Laura has been downright awful in regards to communication and following thro...ugh with what she says she'll do to accommodate each situation. I highly discourage anyone from seeing her for Legal Counsel or pay her for legal assistance. You will be wasting your time and money. Go elsewhere.

She is doing an excellent, detailed job of preparing my Will and Family Trust, as well as setting up a Trust for my child... with special needs. Her expertise and knowledge in this area are unbeatable, and her fees are fair and reasonable. I am particularly impressed with the time she takes to fully understand the unique needs of my family, and to make sure that every question I have (and there are many) is answered to my satisfaction. Worst legal experience ever. She does not listen to clients. She over commits, over promises and over charges. Epitomizes what is wrong in the legal profession. Carefully read your fee agreement with her. Argued over everything. She will not get documents to you for advance review so you can m...eet with her with your questions and save everyone time, including your time as a client.
