My family and I have tried working with Ms. Mathews regarding several legal services that she supposedly offers including Living Will and Estate planning as well as fund management among other services. In each occasion, Laura has been downright awful in regards to communication and following thro...ugh with what she says she'll do to accommodate each situation. I highly discourage anyone from seeing her for Legal Counsel or pay her for legal assistance. You will be wasting your time and money. Go elsewhere.

Laura was recommended to me by a highly respected lawyer that had thought so much of her when he came up against her that he suggested we use her when we needed to go through the Medicaid application process for my sister. Laura got us successfully through the eligibility maze, helped to organize as...sets, explained each step clearly and sequentially and ultimately got my sister onto Medicaid. This was extremely important for my sister's care and for our family. Because of Laura's work and continued advice, we were able to get the best care for her possible. When she passed away everything was so well executed that we were able to get through that quickly and smoothly. Also, there were more assets left and protected than we every would have thought possible. Laura' attention to detail and her ongoing consultation and advice allowed us to make the best decisions possible and to benefit in the end. She also worked on our estate planning and is continuing to offer advice and to complete the legal work related to my sister's estate and medicaid. I appreciate the human touch that Laura offers, understanding the personal side of these legal issues.

Worst legal experience ever. She does not listen to clients. She over commits, over promises and over charges. Epitomizes what is wrong in the legal profession. Carefully read your fee agreement with her. Argued over everything. She will not get documents to you for advance review so you can m...eet with her with your questions and save everyone time, including your time as a client.
