WOW, Kevin Cheney? My wife Peggi and I own a 38-foot Fleetwood Motorhome and on occasions would rent it out through RV Share. It seemed to be a tremendous third income to both our regular revenues. However, in January 2019, a renter lost a massive lower compartment door when driving down the road. Ne...xt, he drove it under the 10 ft 8" Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola, Florida. He totaled everything on the roof, including the roof itself. The renter also sat the hydraulic leveling jacks down on top of a curb and bent a left rear leveling jack. The renter is an American Airline pilot and had a good driving record according to RV Share. Renters are required by law to purchase an independent insurance policy, which with RV Share they exclusively use National General Insurance. The total estimate for repairs was over $25,000. However, National General had me send them countless photos where their adjuster insisted the payout would be $4,500 and refused to repair our Motorhome. I called Kevin Cheney's office to see if he would represent us to help us get our RV repaired. Kevin set up an appointment for me, and I don't remember ever meeting a more kind, compassion, or knowledgeable gentleman than Kevin. After looking at the two-party marked and signed departure and return inspection docs and the photos, Kevin explained the Colorado laws and took our case. National General Insurance fought him and us for months during a time when my health was weak, and I couldn't work. Kevin Cheney proved to be a class act gentleman in every respect. He fought for us patiently and professionally and did all within his power to settle our case civilly. He gave National General ample opportunity to repair our destroyed Motorhome. Howbeit, when it became evident to Kevin that they were not acting in good faith and they had no intentions of honoring their legal and binding commitment, WOW! There was no more settling and no more delays. Kevin Cheney is the kindness, most compassionate legal Pitbull I've ever seen, and our check was in our hands the next day. Kevin Cheney is a brilliant lawyer and an expert strategist who knows Colorado law inside and out. He represented us with class and dignity and what we hoped to get when we asked for his help, he delivered well above and far beyond. A five-star rating, even a ten star, or a hundred wouldn't justify the magnificent job Keven Cheney did in our time of need.
