Biography
Kathryn Stimson is a trial lawyer representing individuals charged with crimes in state and federal court and advocating for the civil rights of individuals against governmental abuses of power.
Ms. Stimson has tried over 50 cases to verdict and handled thousands. She successfully beat the death penalty in People v. Montour after proving her client was wrongfully convicted of murder. In 2014, she won the largest civil rights verdict against the Denver police for false arrest, unlawful entry into a home and malicious prosecution. She has achieved acquittals from juries on the most serious charges and achieved excellent results for clients through negotiation, investigation and sentencing mitigation.
