Biography
I am the President and Chief Litigator at Peak Legal Services, LLC. I have practiced law for nearly 25 years, including more than 13 years as a felony prosecutor. I represent clients throughout Colorado and Wyoming, with offices in both states.
I specialize in criminal defense, defense of sex crimes, DUI and family law. Regarding criminal defense, I have vast experience with major felonies, including homicides, sexual offenses against children, sexual assault, child abuse and DUI cases. I focus on a client's particular needs and goals, and on advising clients early on whether they should focus their resources on plea bargaining or on going to trial based on the allegations and available defenses.
Regarding domestic relations, I have expertise in allocation of parental rights, parenting time and decision making, relocation and child support. Often crimnial allegatons, custody disputes and child protective sercices cases overlap. It's very important to have one attorney who is skilled in all three areas.
I provide vigorous, reasonable and individualized represenation to clients throughout the Front Range and Colorado.

I am glad we were able to at least "right the wrong" to some degree, and get rid of the DUI charge based on questionable tactics by a certain police officer. As a former DA myself, I never condoned such behavior from law enforcement and I know lots of law enforcement would be ashamed of it.
