Biography
I am the President and Chief Litigator at Peak Legal Services, LLC. I have practiced law for nearly 25 years, including more than 13 years as a felony prosecutor. I represent clients throughout Colorado and Wyoming, with offices in both states.
I specialize in criminal defense, defense of sex crimes, DUI and family law. Regarding criminal defense, I have vast experience with major felonies, including homicides, sexual offenses against children, sexual assault, child abuse and DUI cases. I focus on a client's particular needs and goals, and on advising clients early on whether they should focus their resources on plea bargaining or on going to trial based on the allegations and available defenses.
Regarding domestic relations, I have expertise in allocation of parental rights, parenting time and decision making, relocation and child support. Often crimnial allegatons, custody disputes and child protective sercices cases overlap. It's very important to have one attorney who is skilled in all three areas.
I provide vigorous, reasonable and individualized represenation to clients throughout the Front Range and Colorado.

Replied last April 11, 2022It's tough for clients who live in one state and get charged in another (in this case Colorado and Wyoming) to navigate the legal system, different sentencing and also probation rules. One state's system is stressful enough for clients. Two is overwhelming. Plus you had a sex offense charge. I know it took a while, but I am glad we hung in there together, fought the good fight and that I was able to get you back to Colorado with your family and no incarceration. You deserve to have a decent life and a future and I hope this helps gets you there.
