Christine E. Breen, Esq. grew up in an oil and gas family in the heart of the oil and gas industry in Houston, TX. In accordance with the "family business," she practices Oil and Gas Law as an Associate Attorney with Cantafio Hammond, P.C. in its Denver, CO office. Ms. Breen takes pride in working with, and representing, Oil and Gas Companies, as well as mineral owners. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Denver Petroleum Club, and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
Christine joined Cantafio Hammond PC in May 2013. While she mainly focuses on Oil and Gas law, Christine also practices as a commercial litigator, and negotiates commercial transactions. Christine's other areas of practice include employment, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and alternative dispute resolution.
Giving back to her community is of utmost importance to Christine. She volunteers as an attorney with Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans; a free clinic serving Colorado's veterans. She provides pro-bono and means based representation to veterans in need. Ms. Breen is awaiting her certification from the Veterans' Administration and intends to practice military law once certified.
As a descendent of original Colorado pioneers, Christine moved to Colorado after obtaining her Masters in Environmental Law and Policy and Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. She intends to reconnect with her ancestral roots, and work to secure the energy future of Colorado.
In addition to her degrees from Vermont Law School, she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy; both from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
While Christine likes to joke that she bleeds Oil and Gas, she also enjoys the Arts, playing with her dog Sasha, and taking advantage of the other natural resources this great state provides via rock climbing, skiing, hiking, and most other outdoor activities.

Stubborn
She was unprepared for important events, did not remember, or did not understand important details of the case. When I raised concerns, she threatened me with negative outcomes of the case. It was very stressful to work with her.
