I performed the work and then, when I would not cut my fees, Rick threatened to post bad reviews about my services. Unfortunately, he made good on his threat. His matter was resolved with exactly the result he requested at the beginning of the case. The opposing attorney was extremely aggressive, calling multiple times per day at all hours of the day and night, on holidays and weekends. I countered his aggressiveness by being reasonable and we resolved the case to Rick's satisfaction. Had I matched opposing counsel's aggressive stance Rick would have paid far higher fees and likely received a worse result.
