Laura (my attorney) did a fantastic job with my matter. Firstly, during our initial consultation, she explained everything from what she had heard from me and how her firm operates. After reviewing the material, I provided, Laura was honest and told me the reality of moving forward with what we had o...r not; a kind of quit while you are ahead approach. What I was impressed with was the instant integrity she created in my mind, in her answers. Laura fully explained all of the options and the likelihood of success associated with either direction. She could have easily moved forward, knowing the odds were not in my favor, and kept on billing me accordingly. I was just impressed that she provided full disclosure of the scenario and then let ME decide. As things progressed, Laura and I had ongoing communications around my matter. I pitched an idea that I thought was a good path forward and Laura agreed. I provided her the draft and then she added her wordsmith like changes, which I agreed to before sending the letter to my employer. The legalese Laura used in explaining my possible idea/solution really made an impression on my employer. It was SO well written; they knew I was serious and could tell that I was getting quality support from a knowledgeable source. Between the facts of the matter and the negotiating Laura did on my behalf, we got a settlement (that was way over my expectations) exactly 90 days after my initial consultation with Laura Wolf! I do not think my experience with using an attorney for the first time and navigating extreme anxiety could have been any better than what Laura provided me with.
