Best housing discrimination attorney in Colorado

I was privileged and lucky enough to have Laura Wolf as my attorney in a housing/disability discrimination case I am so thankful for the support I received from her and her assistant . Once she joined my legal team, I felt an immediate sense of relief. Laura was not only professional but also incredi...bly understanding of my mental health challenges, including ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety. Even when I struggled to stay on top of emails and communications, Laura was patient and accommodating. She took the time to ensure I received important updates, finding ways to make the process easier for me. Her knowledge of discrimination laws was impressive, and it was clear she was dedicated to my case. Laura’s commitment shone through when she traveled five hours for depositions and spent nearly a week in Montrose to support me. Thanks to her guidance and expertise, we achieved a successful settlement, which has positively impacted our entire community of over 500rwsidents , allowing many to walk their support dogs freely and without the fear of being harassed . I wholeheartedly recommend Laura for her exceptional support and dedication to her clients and my family will be forever grateful for the way she treated and supported us throughout the entire process!

Made a stressful time much less stressful

I hired Laura for an employment discrimination case and she was amazing throughout the entire process. She always approached the situation with empathy and with my best interests at mind. I felt fully informed about what was going on and what my options were through the entire process.

Great Attorney for Employment Issues

I interviewed 4 other attorneys before choosing Laura and I’m so glad I chose her. She was honestly invested in my case and genuinely cared about the injustice I suffered. She fought to get me justice and was not afraid to go against a large corporation. Discrimination cases can be tricky but she is ...the perfect person to help you navigate them. I would 100% hire her again.

A truly spectacular attorney

I wanted to express my utmost gratitude to the good folks at Spark Justice, especially Laura Wolf. I am unsure where to begin in adequately addressing the incredible patience, empathy, gumption, intelligence, aptitude, and sheer-will Laura and her team displayed throughout my experience. My sudden an...d unjust departure from my former employer due to an anti-LGBT clause left me feeling devastated, abused and deeply depressed, especially given my turbulent history with conversion therapy. I was very apprehensive to seek out legal action, but I was unsure where to turn and my savings was quickly dwindling (especially since my ex-employer initially fought my unemployment claim). Through the LGBT Center on Colfax, I was blessed with a referral to Spark Justice. Laura, in a word, is a bulldog…in the absolute best possible sense. Upon meeting her, it becomes quickly apparent that she is clearly a deeply brilliant and intuitive woman with a strong moral compass and fiery passion for social justice. I was utterly blown away by her. In fact, after my first session with her I cried in my car because it was such a relief to know I was finally in good hands with a person willing to lend an ear to my side of the story. She listened intently to my case, asked the hard questions, found a dizzying array of legal support, walked me through the entire process, was immediately responsive and was by my side at every step of the way. I was never in the dark about what to expect next. It was a long hard road of evidence finding, mediation, discovery, witness statements, subpoenas and a host of other activities, but Laura and her team professionally and patiently guided me through every move and would check-in on me to make sure I was doing well from both a professional and emotional standpoint. She even took on (and won!) my unemployment case, which I never would have been able to pursue on my own without her legal advice and acumen. She provided me a voice to stand up and fight back, which is typically against my nature. Erin, a member of her team, authored an incredible and thoroughly researched mediation statement that would make any attorney blush with pride. However, the piece that I most appreciated was she was pragmatic and realistic, keeping me grounded in my expectations and wants. Laura and her team really are a five-star, A+, 10/10 group of people. While attorneys sometimes get a bad reputation, Spark Justice really represents all that is good about the legal profession. She is deeply invested in the financial and emotional wellbeing of her clients and makes every effort to provide space for them to process what they are going through. If you believe in God like I do, I am convinced she is a literal angel. You will not go wrong with reaching out to Laura. In fact, it may be the best move you ever make.

Laura changed my life.

I found Laura through a friend who is a lawyer - this is to say my friend is very honest and had my best interest at heart. I cannot state this enough - Laura is the best lawyer I have ever come across and she changed my life. Briefly, I was fired for pursuing fertility treatment and ultimately, ...getting pregnant. I was devastated - pregnant, without income, without health insurance, etc… Laura was very quick to explain all the different ways my firing was illegal. She coached me (an emotional, not always rational, mess) through what would happen at each step of the process and when it wears going to happen. She let me know things would take a while and how to best prepare. She gave me all my options and let me decide what was best for my family. She spent HOURS combing through a years worth of documentation including calls, emails, and handwritten notes. Most of all - she was Omsk patient with me, compassionate, kind, and understanding. Finally, when my former employer was being difficult just for the sake of driving up my bills with her, Laura worked it out in a way that protected me from their attempts to financially ruin me. I recommend her whenever possible and I mean this genuinely - working with Laura allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy and the birth of my first child in a way that would not have been possible without her support, long hours, and determination to get me what I was owed and force the company to face the consequences of their actions.
