Biography
Mike Hinds is the Managing Attorney of Hinds and Hinds Family Law, P.C. A Colorado native, Mike attended Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, Florida, majoring in International Business and Modern Languages. Before returning to Colorado for Law School, Mike spent significant time abroad in several countries including Croatia, Czech Republic, and Mexico as a language and geography teacher.
Mike received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, as well as his Master in Business Administration from the Daniels College of Business. During his time in school, he clerked for the Honorable Angela Arkin as well as Cheif Judge King in the 18th Judicial District of Colorado.
Mike joined his family's firm in June of 2012, knowing his father and brother's reputation for conflict resolution in an area of practice that is often associated with extreme emotional difficulties and sensitive issues.
Mike's desire to work in family law stemmed in large part from his years of working with children and adolescents in Summer programs who were often facing the challenges of divorce and changing family dynamics.
Mike's practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution techniques to minimize conflict and have the parties and thier children transition into the next stage of their lives in the healthiest manner possible in the circumstances. Mike is also a trained mediatior.
