A. Thomas Tenenbaum

With over four decades of experience, A. Thomas Tenenbaum is one of Colorado’s leading attorneys practicing in securities law and commercial litigation.

 Tom earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law and began his career with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York office. As an SEC trial attorney, his work involved investigations and prosecutions of matters related to securities exchanges, mutual funds, investment firms, public companies and securities brokers and dealers.

 After heading the corporate securities department of a major law firm, in 2001, Tom founded Tenenbaum Law a business law firm focused on representing individuals and corporations in commercial litigation and securities regulatory defense. Over the years, he has protected and litigated on behalf of businesses and business owners in a variety of industries resolving a range of commercial disputes. Tom’s breadth of securities law experience includes representation of individuals and businesses before the SEC, FINRA, and Colorado and other state regulators and professional licensing organizations. He also counsels his clients on securities compliance issues and internal investigations.

 Tom is often asked to serve as an expert witness and consultant in securities law matters.
