I hired Paula around seven years ago. I have re-hired her regularly since then because she is phenomenal. She knows Texas Family Law like the back of her hand. Paula guided me through my legal issues, and I trusted her advice. I wholeheartedly believe she is the reason my family is intact. Paula Thomas is a danger to the families of El Paso. She will sign a contract and take payment with no intention of representing her clients. She has called me when she thinks she is calling the other party (who she does not represent) and show her deceitful side. She is uninterested in the facts of... a case and is fighting a personal vendetta. When she gets caught in lies, she runs and becomes really awful. Stay away from this woman. She will say something to your face and pretend she is representing you and then sabotage you behind your back because she has a mess of a personal life that she’s litigating through her clients lives. Stay away from this mental health mess.

Hired her and it was like she was working for my ex more than she was me. I got her everything she asked for and every visit it was like there was just “one more piece she needed.” The amount of money I spent towards her was ridiculous for the quality of work I got. Even my ex’s lawyer said i would h...ave been better off representing myself.

I hired this lawyer because she seemed sympathetic and took the time to listen on the first appointment. After I hired her, she was either late to our appointment or rushing through them. She never educated or advised me about my situation. It was a complicated situation with a crazy ex-husband, a lo...t of property and kids. It seemed like she was representing my ex-husband and not me. She failed to include everything in front of the judge that was discussed so I ended with the short end of the stick. She also included things in the decree that are wrong and can’t be executed.
