James Kerby Jopling

I advocate for workers' rights in El Paso, Texas. I have helped employees who were discriminated against because of their race, gender and age. I am an experienced trial attorney, having litigated in courts throughout Texas for over 24 years.

I am also proud to serve The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT), an organization that provides legal services to law enforcement personnel throughout Texas.

I graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law, where I served as an associate editor on the St. Mary's Law Journal. I also participated actively in the school's advocacy programs, placing first in the Freshman Mock Trial competition and winning the Walker Moot Court Best Brief competition. In recognition of my achievements in advocacy, I was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. I also served as an intern at the Supreme Court of Texas.

I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas and in the United States District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Western District of Texas.
