Want my refund 4 months to long to wait.

I hired Laura to get custody of my grandchildren. I paid in advance. I asked her to cease all activities in August and send me refund. I'm still waiting for my money. I've contacted her office on six separate occasions requesting my money. She charged $1300. The other side gave up and agreed to giv...e me custody. The case was settled before court. I had to pay in advance and they wouldn't do one thing without me giving them more money even when my account was zero I had to go in and pay an extra 300. That's the refund she owes me.

TWICE...

My exhusband and I hired her in the nineties for a sexual harassment case and we won when the company settled, she fought hard for his rights and we felt like she really cared about our situation, fast foward a decade and my husband and I were divorcing and I needed a lawyer that I could trust, she s...imply treated me like a completely different person and I was left with such a sad feeling because lawyers and clients DO share a personal bond its a traumatic time and you look to someone to HELP YOU OUT! of course my money wasnt like it used to be since we were divorcing , but I felt like she should have treated me like a WOMAN rather than a divorcee with no money.She had no problem helping us when we won the lawsuit, she represented us with no money down, but took a big chunk of our settlement, I just felt like she was motivated by monetary gain rather than trying to guide people through their legal woes. I finally downloaded paper work from the court house and paid for my legal fees and got divorced for like 250.00.

Horrible!!!!!!

The last comment was correct about charging for everything. I had a uncontested divorce and it took over 11 months nothing to fight about nothing to argue about the charge me $300 a month when they did nothing not even one phone call or mail me one letter. Do not hire this lawyer.

WORST LAWYER EVER

She charges for everything . Paied up front 3000 ...but she never handled my case .. Her staff never knew what was going on .. Charged every little thing for phone calls for walking in the office .. 300 here and 300 there for everything ... Charged 500 to send in the final papers never did then 2 mon...ths later I asked for the papers and said it was 350 for resending them .... Or she would drop me as a client ... She is a horrible person doesnt care about people she repersent

ruined my life

I hired this lady in a case where there was zero evidence on me and my life is gone. It took me 4 months just to fix what she screwed up enough just so I could just see my children. Now my children are in a really bad place, not being taken care of and I'm in the fight of my life. As a mother this ...has ruined my life, my family and my ability to even get a job in this state. She showed up late to court, overbilled, and looked like she just woke up every time I saw her. 3,500 is what my life was worth. She never needs to represent another person in any court again
