Do not hire this attorney. Maybe if he was getting paid, he would do a better job. However, he was appointed to our case. He is not nice, and he does NOT return phone calls. He is just one of those attorneys that every day is just another day for him. He does not care about the interest of his clien...t, nor does he have the experience. He was never up to speed during our first meetings, had never read the case. The biggest thing for me is returning phone calls. I called, called, left messages to no avail. You just have to catch him when he's in the office, and hope that you are not bothering him. We did not win our criminal case, and the outcome could have been better. Find someone else if you have any hope of a favorable outcome.

This lawyer is rude. Does not answer calls and when he does, seems like your bothering him. Received a visit from him while in jail. He told me i had to give an answer immediately prior to 3:30pm on a Friday. I called several times and no answer. Contacted him on the following Monday and he grew upse...t with me because I told him a made the call more than once and no answer as needed before 3:30pm. He stated because he wasn't there to answer! After that, I decided not to accept the offer given on that Friday and told him i wanted to hold for a third pnc for chance of a lesser time. Wow, did he become infuriated and said he was done talking to me and hung up. This "defense" lawyer is in the least bit interested in "defending" me or anyone else for that matter. I was told by several others to get another attorney if at all possible. Seems truly heartless. I know i've done wrong but not the worst. If you're a public defender and could careless of the ones your appointed to then why bother. Oh yea, for the money of course. Maybe not be highly paid if hired personally but, he gets paid regardless.

Mr White was appointed to me by the courts. I have not seen or spoken to him in 5 weeks now, since our initial interview. His office does not answer the phone calls nor does he when calling the residential #listed on his business card. I have no idea what is going on with my case. Also be advised tha...t after speaking with over 200 inmates at LCDC nobody but 1 inmate have heard of him & that person said Mr. White railroaded him & did a very poor job of representing the case. I would strongly advise you to replace him ASAP if he got appointed to do your case.
