Professional and knowledgeable

I hired Ms. Woods to represent myself and my child in a complex family court matter after I went to a free consultation with her. She was upfront and honest about every aspect of my case and gave me honest, unbiased advice. She was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to hear me out and answer e...very question I had. During the entire case she and her Paralegal kept in contact with me and all my calls, texts, and e-mails were answered a promptly as possible. My case was highly emotional and stressful and there were times that I became flustered but Christina remained professional through it all while still being compassionate. I would and have recommended her to anyone who needs a lawyer and would hire her again if need be.

She restored my hope

When I first walked in to Ms. Woods office I had just left a child support hearing that did not go very well for me, I was disheartened, afraid, upset and had very little hope for any help from anyone, and she was my last stop before heading back to Lubbock. I had completely given up on lawyers and j...udges and saw very little promise of ever there being an improvement in my circumstances. I had very little money and not a promise of making much more than I currently was, I was in the middle of unenforceable custody orders, and up to my eye balls in past due child support. What Ms. Woods did for me was see past the black and white on the paperwork and beyond some of the things being held against me, and beyond my financial ability to repay and dove head first in to my case with bravado and tenacity knowing full well the cards had been stacked against me pretty high. Any other lawyer would have sent me on my way packing as fast as I had walked in her office. What Ms. Woods endured during the course of was stonewall after stonewall from the opposing side as well as very little to work with during the case. Ms Woods endured countless nights of texting me after counseling sessions where I was upset and asked her endless amounts of questions. One night after a particularly horrible session she stayed on the phone with me the whole time I drove from Levelland to Lubbock until I was calmed down and able to feel comfortable with moving forward in the process. I have never been made feel like a "lost cause" or "waste of time" and her staff has also treated me with respect and dignity just as she has from the moment I walked into her office. I am confident Ms. Woods has always acted in mine and my childs best interests and always advised me to conduct myself in a manner that would never be detrimental to my case. I can't say that about the other lawyers I've had in the past for this same situation. Ms. Woods finally HEARD what I was saying and cut through the attorney jargon to finally understand what I had been enduring for the last 8 years. I without a doubt will always be indebted to Ms. Woods for her perseverance and guts to handle my custody modification. I can't be grateful enough for the hard work that has been put into my case. She has restored my opinion in lawyers and brought hope to a case that I thought I had no chance of ever making improvements on.

Reccommended Lawyer

Christina Woods handled my case with diligence and urgency to put my fears at ease. She was very professional and knowledgable when it came to the interpretation of the law, and was very supportive during mediation and trial. She ensured that the correct motions were filed, and gathered discovery qui...ckly to prepare defense for the case. She answered my questions in a timely manner to ease the burden of what might happen during the trial. I would reccommend her to friends and family, and would use her again for further lawsuits.

Great staff

Having used Christina L. Woods to represent myself in a divorce, I must say that I'm more than satisfied with the outcome. She gave me free consultation which some attorneys charge per hour and I found that very useful. She was up front with me and kept me informed about my case while looking out for... my best interest in my rocky divorce. Christina and her staff are very knowledgeable and handle all matters of your case in a professional style. Not only did they make my divorce less stressful, but they were reachable at anytime. If a problem came up I knew that her and her hard working staff was just a phone call away ready to answer any questions or address any problem that I had. I would recommend Christina L. Woods to anyone who needed a hard working attorney and dedicated staff to represent them. Thanks for EVERYTHING!

Truly Greatful

I contacted this office on a Sunday and was called back almost immediately. My case was not an easy one (divorce with a disabled child involved) but Christina took it on with full force. She and her girls were amazing and worked with me on every detail of my case. She took the time to learn about the... specific needs of my child and how they would need to be laid out for my case. In my heart I know she went above and beyond for me and my little girl. I have and will continue to recommend Christina.
