Christina Woods Duffy

Christina is handling my custody case. She was very upfront about how the case could go, and helped me prepare for both outcomes. She keeps me in the loop whenever something happens, and is working hard on all matters. Christina has looked out for me through the entire thing. She didn't charge me an ...arm and a leg like a lot of other attorneys wanted to for my family matter. She plays chess not checkers when it comes to my case and is working as hard as possible to win for me. I do not regret my decision to hire her nor would I change lawyers at any point. She is definitely a wise choice and i would refer her to any of my family or friends in need of an attorney.

Her and her firm did not take my case seriously from the start, though they sure took my money. They would not listen nor try anything even when I demanded it, they never even tried to stand up to the opposing attorney and just let him run the show. They never fought for me just did a little paperw...ork and expected payment. Then when it came to keeping me apprised of what was going on it was like pulling teeth just to get someone on the phone. They also liked to wait til the last minute to get in contact and try to make sure we were on the same page. State needs to dis-bar.

I hired Christina Woods a few years ago to modify our court orders and she seemed good at first she responded to all my texts and emails kept me informed but after a few months I completely stopped hearing anything back. She took 4 MONTHS to file for a hearing and by then they had already filed a ca...se against us and so she charged me an additional $1,000 to take on the case against them which is BS and they never would have done had she filed as soon as I hired her! At one point I had a major issue going on that I needed an answer to and she basically said there's nothing she can do and HUNG UP on me!! What kind of, "lawyer" does that?! She was so bad I had to fire her and hire a new lawyer who had to file a new case but he at least filed the same day I hired him and we were in court a month later! And I got everything I wanted unlike her who was basically in favor of the other parent and was giving him everything he wanted and not what I wanted! I'd give her no stars if that was an option! By far one of the worst lawyers out there!!

Hired Ms. Woods for enforcement of child visitation. THERE IS NO FREE CONSULTATION AS ADVERTIZED IN GOOGLE SEARCHES. .Same day the other parent filed to Modify Child Custody. I made a down payment and started payments as contract stated. I made a file with ALL documents and gave this 2 them before 1s...t hearing. I never even knew about second hearing until a TEXT the day prior at 3pm FOR 9AM hearing.I was asked for documents that I had given in the file the first time I went there. Ms. Woods NEVER even met with me to discuss the 2nd hearing which ended poorly. I was notified the next day that I never hired/PAID her for the MODIFICATION.....only the ENFORCEMENT. REALLY......? When you hire an attorney......isn't that for the situation. I was NEVER even served for the Modification. The case would have ended differently had Ms. Woods conferred with me prior to the hearing. HOW CAN YOU GO BEFORE A JUDGE.... If you do not know the case. STARTING OVER WITH A NEW LAWYER....go somewhere else...don't waste you time... money... and most importantly YOUR LIFE.
