As my husband and I live in Florida, my home state is Colorado. As we had been married less than a year, I had left the majority of my belongings back home. As we were returning home from Colorado I had purchased marijuana to bring back with me as I had my medical card for many years. Best deal offered by the DA prior to hiring Adam was 3 years probation, $3000 fine, $500 probation transfer, and def...erred adjudication on the felony. Problem with deferred adjudication? Any screw up on probation and the judge can IMMEDIATELY hand down any judgement within the parameters of the felony. 2 to 10 years in my case. That would be years of extreme stress hoping I didn't screw up. After hiring Adam? Plead guilty to Class A MISDEMEANOR, $500 fine, no probation transfer, 2 years probation on a misdemeanor, and he even got my car released (pending, but he says it will happen). I report once a month online. Those are the facts. My opinion? HIre Adam. Don't let his laid-back demeanor fool you, he is worth every penny.
