Biography
After law school, I founded a computer OEM/White Box manufacturing company in Austin, Texas which I ran successfully for 8 years. During that time, I really learned what it takes to operate a business, which is why my clients are so happy with my bills. Well, not really happy, but they appreciate all the work I do to keep their costs down - one case my firm was involved in which settled last year, my client spent less than one-half of what the opposing side spent on attorneys' fees - the secret - we don't nickle and dime and automate a lot of the practice, passing the savings on to our clients. Of course, litigation is still expensive and to be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
We also help people injured in Texas - all of Texas. I'm very passionate about helping the injured, many of whom are in serious financial difficulty because of someone else's carelessness, sometimes even lacking health insurance. Unfortantely, "tort reform" in Texas has made it even harder for hard-working, honest people to have their day in court - and frankly, it pisses me off. I also get steamed when insurance companies make low ball offers to my clients. We work hard for all our clients, but we don't take on every case.
