About Nikki
Biography
For many years, Nikki G. Maples has been a familiar face in family law in Austin, Texas. She has dedicated her practice exclusively to family law matters dealing with custody disputes, modifications of prior family law court orders, and taking a creative approach when dividing marital assets in cases involving complex property issues.
Nikki is passionate about helping families who are worried and scared about life beyond divorce or the result that divorce may have on their children. Not every family law matter has to be a heartbreaking event. With that in mind, Nikki pursues divorce cases and other family law matters with creativity, compassion and sincerity. It is Nikki’s focus to counsel and guide each client and family with integrity, honesty and empathy.
Nikki has also expanded her professional exposure by actively participating in various legal organizations in the community and surrounding areas. Also noteworthy is Nikki’s commitment to providing legal advice and service to veterans through the Veteran’s Legal Project. Her participation in law-related education, such as the Girls Empowerment Network and the Mentoring a Student program, which provides opportunities to mentor high school students. Nikki’s community involvement is more extensively listed on the community page.
On a more personal note, Nikki enjoys being active with her family and participating in local athletic events. With her passion for health and fitness, Nikki has offered her creativity to the Austin Bar Lawyer Wellness program and authors a monthly article on health and wellness, in addition to her continued work on projects geared to improve the health and physical wellness of Austin’s legal community.
