When Mike Massey was not available, Stefanie Long would correspond with me. She was very helpful in letting me know what Texas law would allow in my Will and explained items I didn’t understand. We needed to update our wills and other estate documents. We were easily able to book an appointment and met with Mike for our initial meeting. Mike took the time to go over all considerations for our estate, powers of attorney, and medical directives. We followed up with Stephanie Long, who draft...ed new and updated documents. She took the time to review all of her drafts and amend as necessary. Several days later Stephanie had the final drafts ready for signing. To say this process was organized and efficient doesn't do justice. Stephanie had all of the forms laid out ready to look over and sign, and Melissa the staff notary was also present. All documents were signed, witnessed and notarized on the spot. We were presented with a beautifully organized binder containing all our executed documents, guides and FAQs. The whole process from initial meeting to the execution of all documents and delivery of completed documents took just over a week. Kudos to Mike, Stephanie, et al. It doesn't get better than that!

Updating my will was a project I had postponed for years and to make the situation even more complicated, I was advised by friends to use a trust instead.
