My husband and I are very pleased with Mike Massey Law for estate planning. I did a lot of research on law firms that handled this issue. We selected Mike Massey Law because of the following components: 1) We received preliminary introductory material that explained the ins and outs of estate planni...ng even before I made any appointments; 2) Simple three-step process for putting together our personal estate plan; 3) Detailed description of what could be included in our plan along with pricing options; 4) Detailed questionnaire that includes some hard questions my husband and I NEEDED to discuss before we could move on with the process; 5) Easy online scheduling; 6) Initial meeting to see if we're a good fit and it's free of charge. By the time we completed the process, Mike Massey Law earned this 5-star review for two reasons. First, Stephanie Long, our assigned attorney, is extremely knowledgeable and she is an excellent communicator. She welcomed any and all questions as we moved through the process, making sure we felt comfortable and secure with the decisions we made. Finally, Stephanie, Carel (witness) and Melissa (notary public) run a very well-organized signing process. This is worth six stars! After all signatures were in place, our hard copies were given to us in a binder complete with table of contents and a multitude of support materials. In addition, Stephanie reviewed with us all additional steps we need to take to formalize our documents with government entities. I can't emphasize enough just how important this was for me. Getting our estate plan into place is a huge accomplishment for us and we did NOT want to drop the ball by forgetting to get documents recorded and/or processed accurately. This attentive signing team inserted stuffed, stamped, addressed envelopes in the pocket of the binder, along with written instructions, to make sure we didn't drop that ball.

Like most adults, we knew estate planning is an important component of planning your family's future. Also, like most people, it was an intimidating process to contemplate. I can say,without reservation, Mike Massey Law (Stephanie and team in Austin) broke the estate planning process down so that ...it was easy to understand, easy to tailor to our needs, and easy to complete. We contacted Mike to review our trust and other legal documents that we had put in place several years ago. He was very helpful and easy to work with. He immediately concluded that the revokable trust we had did not need re-doing (saving us a great of money. I’m sure). He suggested that our Power ...of Attorney documents and advanced directives needed to be expanded and more detailed. He was able to develop these documents in one week. I felt his fees were fair.
