She saved the day...and saved my life

Jill was my third lawyer for a very serious case, after my first lawyer stole my money and the second lawyer passed away. I lingered for 8 months not being able to talk with anyone, not being able to share the evidence proving my innocence, and in short not being listened to. Jill was assigned to m...y case and after a short introductory meeting with her, it was clear God had quite literally sent a top-notch lawyer to quite literally, save the day and save my life. Jill took an immediate interest in not just the facts of the case, but of me. She saw me not as a number or a client, but a person - a person who's life had been turned upside down by a lie, and she took an immediate, personal interest in remedying the situation. She was masterful at both communicating her thoughts, but also listening to what I had to say. There was never a time when she wasn't writing things down, carefully considering the facts and potential outcomes, and advising me with my best interest at heart. She was always reachable, communicative, empathetic, and always strove to find balance in the possible outcomes, whether good or what to prepare for. She diligently worked with the other side to ensure that my case was a priority, to ensure that the facts and my evidence was carefully considered, and reminded others that I had lost everything while waiting for a resolution to my case, and that I was entitled to due process and civil rights as any defendant is guaranteed. I would also like to recognize Jill's memory, which was second to none. Meaning, when I told her something, she always remembered what I said, how it impacted our case (or not), and was always on the lookout for how the facts could be weaved into my defense in accordance with all applicable laws. Jill's professionalism and preparedness was first-rate in every respect. Even though she is fairly new to Texas, her nearly thirty years of experience paid dividends as she was intimately aware with Texas Penal Code Law, and was able to immediately draw upon her wealth of knowledge to apply those principles to my case. In the end, Jill was able to show that on my serious charge, I was indeed innocent, and those charges were dropped. She was able to secure a fair and mutually-agreeable result to my overall case, that allowed me to be released with the opportunity to return to my life with the chance to restore the things that I lost that prior to her arrival, I know, would not have been possible. Even after my case was resolved, she didn't leave me to fend for myself. She ensured I was able to find my way back into society by making calls, working with my family to receive personal belongings, and worked with community individuals and groups to assist me in a successful re-entry process. On the day I was released, she was quite ill, yet came out in a driving rainstorm, on a Saturday, to drive me to my new home. Now ask yourself, what lawyer would do that? A lawyer who TRULY cares for her client and cares about justice being served for who she represents. In short, I can highly and without reservation recommend Jill Gately as your attorney. Without her dynamic, zealous, and personalized representation, I know I would still be languishing in jail for something I didn't do, with no one listening to me, and my life continuing to die away. As the title says, her work saved the day for our case, but I firmly believe, saved my very life because my health had been deteriorating for months, and my fire for life was slowly being extinguished. She restored the flame of justice for me and my life and set my feet back upon a free path for a second chance in life. Professionalism, courtesy, friendship, tactfulness, zealous representation, directness, and empathetic understanding are the benchmarks upon which her excellent service are built. I cannot thank her enough and I know choosing her to be your lawyer will be the best decision in your quest for justice in your own case. Thank you, Jill!
