My practice is solely dedicated to family law clients, and for over 10 years I have exclusively practiced family law. That focus has allowed me to develop practical courtroom skills, and familiarity with the judges around Texas. I handle cases in and around the central Texas area, including the counties of Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bell, New Braunfels, Comal, and Bexar, but I have been known to travel to Houston or Dallas as needed. I am comfortable in the courtroom and with all aspects of trial including jury trials, mediation, and emergency hearings. I am client-focused and oriented. My goal is to find a solution to my client's problems whether in or out of the courtroom.

Saved a child
Our case was something that we had never encountered and yet this Attorney took care of our family. My brother and his wife passed away leaving a child in the hands of a non family member. Since the rest of the family didn't live in Texas we knew this was going to be a uphill battle. Mary and her sta...

Tanya's Review
Ms. Escamilla handled my divorce quickly and professionally. She was able to navigate through the complexities of my divorce and made the process so much easier with her compassion and empathy. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs timely, efficient and skillful assistance during a d...
"Mary is exactly the sort of attorney you need if you have a family law problem. She has a great relationship with the judges and other attorneys, yet she knows when to be aggressive and stand up for clients. She is the best."
"Mary and I have had a few cases against each other. I'm always pleased to see her on the other side. The single greatest cost saving factor in a family law case is whether the or not the lawyers can get along. Mary is easy to get a long with while she is aggressively representing her clients. The Texas Supreme Court tell us in the Texas Lawyer's Creed to "disagree without being disagreeable" Mary is a good example of what the Supreme Court wants us lawyers to be."
"Mary goes above and beyond to ensure that her client's needs are met and her client's rights are brought to the attention of the Court. Her practice is marked by a relentless diligence to detail and dedication to doing the right thing. Above all else, Mary has all the makings of an opposing party's worst nightmare - she is professional, unyielding, and excellent. I highly recommend Mary to anyone seeking a family law attorney to handle their divorce or child custody case."
"Mary is an amazing and tenacious attorney. She is willing to face down the most hardened attorneys in the courtroom and is victorious in her battles. She is honest and hard working and her touch of humor helps soothe her clients during trying times."
