Litigation matter

Kevin Brown successfully resolved a litigation matter for our company in a cost efficient and creative manner. Outright dismissal was obtained as a result of a summary judgment motion and minimal discovery.

Outstanding Counsel

Kevin Brown and his firm Fritz, Byrne, Head & Harrison, PLLC has been our outside counsel for nearly a decade and a half. We are a small software and consulting firm providing services to 70+ government jurisdictions over the past 16 years. Recently, one of our government customers created an unau...thorized copy of our software and, after several unsuccessful attempts to communicate about it, we filed suit in Federal Court. Our experience with Kevin in this recent situation illuminates everything about him as our attorney. We are extremely pleased with Kevin’s counsel and representation throughout this difficult and stressful case. He is the unusual combination of trial, contract and intellectual property attorney. All three skill sets were fully engaged in our case. Kevin is an extremely intelligent litigator – a great problem solver and strategist in the midst of conflict, very quick on his feet. He assesses evolving circumstances as they arise in ways that put us in the best position to negotiate a positive outcome. He is just plain smart, always a move or more ahead of opposing counsel. Kevin’s exceptional team - Ariel Henderson, Alex King and Brenda Jones – researched our case, case law and original legislation to inform and advise the strategy for our case, minimize our risk and positioned us for a settlement. Kevin is relentlessly customer focused. For our small company this was a very big case that had our entire business at risk. For Kevin and his team this was a pretty small case. Regardless, we always felt and always feel we are Kevin’s #1 priority. Lastly, throughout the 14 months we worked together on the case, we always knew what was happening, why and what was next. We never wondered where we were in the process of the case. In summary, Kevin Brown is an exceptional attorney and very good human being. We offer our highest recommendation for him and his team.
